Spring Has Sprung!

And I have become a MAJOR blog slacker!  So here's the down and dirty and we'll get right to the pictures ;-)

We've been busy since we've been back from Orlando! From a visit from the Easter Bunny (and gramma Annie), to a 30th birthday celebration to some jaunts around Maryland, another visit from Gramma and Bampa and we even made a quick trip up north! PHEW!

Seriously one of our favorite things to do this time of year is walk around the neighborhood... Robin just loves to deface public property and rip flowers out of the ground :-P

We also rolled some easter eggs out in good ole Frederick...

not sure if Gramma Annie was more popular, or the easter bunny but it was a fun morning either way...

and its always fun when the Carley crew and the Desi crew join forces!

Lots of quality park time has been had!

And we've already made our share of trips to the Sondheim Fountain at the Inner Harbor!

Lots more to come as the May flowers continue to spring and the adventures continue!

So Some of You May Have Heard...

We went to Disney for 8 days last week (and the beginning of this week but who's counting ;-)). A year we signed our lives away to Walt Disney and became Disney Vacation Club members. Since we were in Disney World one year ago we thought it would be fun to make our first offical DVC trip a Disney Cruise but soon realized we missed the "boat" on going on a Disney Cruise planning for this year. So after some regrouping and restratgizing we realized we'd have to ... sigh... go to Disney World again this spring... its a tough life I tell ya ;-)

So it started with this:

Which resulted in so much hype Robin spent all the entire first day so overwhelmed at the thought of going to Disney she did this a lot of this:

But there was also a lot of this:

And once she started meeting some of these:

There were WAY more smiles than tears for the whole week...

And some of you may know Robin once had this TINY fear of "mascots" or people in character costumes... well one day at Disney and her first sighting of the big cheese and she was cured:

And for those of you who know me... you know I love my new camera, and I got a new lens before the trip... so being with these cute kiddos for 8 days:

its safe to say there were a lot of pictures taken:

And of course a few pictures to capture Robin's newest obsession/addiction:

POPCORN

And of course at Disney folks are always celebrating something...

To sum up our trip, the words of the wisest woman I know, Jennifer Desi said it best... "we have to go home sometime so Disney can stay magical!" and even though I don't know if a view of the castle at dinner would ever get old for me I do see her point...

So in the words of the Mouseketeers of old : "C ya real soon!" Disney World!
